Screen Printing consists of five main parts: screen frame c/w mesh, squeegee, ink, printing table, and substrate.

Screen Printing Principle: the graphic part of the screen mesh is permeable to ink, while the non-graphic part of the mesh is impermeable to ink.

Screen Printing Process: Pour the ink into one end of the screen, and apply some pressure with a scraper on the ink while moving toward the other end. The ink is then squeezed from the mesh holes to the substrate. Due to the viscous effect of the ink, so the print is fixed within a certain range. The squeegee screen and substrate are always in line contact, with the squeegee moving. The screen and the substrate maintain a gap, when printing the stencil reacts to the squeegee through its own tension, the resulting force is called rebound force. Under the action of the rebound force, the screen and the substrate are only a moving line contact, while the other parts of the screen and the substrate form a detached state, the ink is therefore separated from the screen, ensuring dimensional accuracy and avoiding scuffing of the substrate. When the squeegee scrapes across the entire screen and then lifts up, at the same time the screen is also lifted, and the ink is lightly scraped back to the initial position so that a printing stroke is completed.
